No. Cotham Club is open to everyone, and most people simply buy a ticket for the events they would like to attend.
We're a community-focused music club rather than a private members' club. Whether you're a regular attendee or visiting for the first time, you'll find a warm welcome, great live music, and a friendly atmosphere. There is space to sit, stand, chat, dance, and enjoy a drink from the bar.
We welcome people of all ages, backgrounds, and musical tastes. Come along on your own, with friends, or with family – you'll be among good company.

No, it is set in a church building with inclusive values at its heart and grounded in community - Cotham Club is simply about bringing people together for great live music. We welcome people of all ethnicities, identities, ages, and faith traditions.

We have a bar with a range of excellent-value alcoholic and soft drinks, crisps and snacks.

Yes, absolutely! Our audience spans all ages; under-18s are very welcome, and we love to have families enjoying the music together. We always set up a drawing area for younger children and have a quieter space available if you need it.

Yes. We have disabled toilets, and the venue is accessible to wheelchairs. If you have any specific requirements, then do email us in advance – we’ll do all we can to make you feel comfortable on the night.

Cotham Club is held in Cotham Parish Church, Cotham Road, BS6 5DR. We’re a few minutes’ walk from Clifton Down train station, and right next to the 72 bus-stop.
There is on-street parking for cars.

For most gigs, you can also buy tickets at the door, but these are a little more expensive, and sometimes we sell out.

A full-price ticket costs £14 on Headfirst and £16 on the door.
£5 concession tickets are available for: recipients of Universal and Pension Credit or Jobseeker's Allowance; full-time students (NUS or valid student ID card); people with registered disabilities; and members of the Musicians' Union (The MU). Please bring your ID with you.
£2 concession tickets are available for: accompanied under-18s
Free tickets are available for: accompanied under-5s
Free tickets are available for: asylum seekers/refugees, personal/care assistants or essential companions - please contact cothamclub@gmail.com to request these free tickets

Doors open at 7pm and that’s a great time to arrive. You can then find a seat (we don’t reserve seats) and settle down with a drink before the music starts at about 7.40pm. We have an interval at about 8.30pm and then the second set finishes by 10pm.

We don’t offer refunds. We are volunteer-run, pay our bands properly and try to keep our costs reasonable.
